I am a native Texan of Greek descent. Before coming to California, I earned a BA at Texas A&M University (Gig’em Ags!). My two brothers (now a successful homebuilder, Stover Custom Homes, and retired NFL placekicker, Baltimore Ravens) and I grew up in Dallas and were raised by a first generation Greek immigrant mother and a fifth generation Texan father. Growing up was consequently quite a cultural melee learning the true meaning of philanthropy, tradition and ethnic food from the “Greeks”, and learning how to be hospitable, enjoy football and love Southern cooking from the “Texans”.
For a change of pace, I ventured to California in 1987 and utilized my academics, strong work ethic and love of unique cultures and people into a successful career in business development for major corporations such as Price Waterhouse and Mitsubishi Chemical. During this time I learned the art of negotiation, maintaining attention to detail, and developing strong and fruitful relationships to name a few.
I retired from the corporate world to raise my two children, who are currently attending UCSB and UNR, with my husband Bob, a “lifer” at LLNL. Having volunteered in the community for many years and working part-time at Home Depot as a Kitchen Designer, I became a Realtor® in 2013 to combine my love of business, homes and community with my desire to make a difference in the the community and the lives of others.
I serve the community as the Chairman of the LVJUSD Parent Club Information Council, and on the Boards of the Livermore Shakespeare Festival and Livermore Valley Education Foundation.
And I’d be honored to get to know you too!
